Every month, as part of our mission No Child Orphaned, you chose to show up for a child who had no one. Your giving is the reason 394 children spent this year with a roof over their heads, meals on their plates, and people who truly cared for them.
This is what your support made possible in 2025–26:

But numbers only tell part of the story. They cannot capture the toddler's delight in her first sun room, the pride on a child's face at a carrom competition, or the laughter on a school trip that many of these children will remember for the rest of their lives.
Behind every figure above is a child who is dreaming, growing, and slowly learning that the world can be a kind place. This has been possible because of you.
Your support has changed lives. Please keep giving. More children are waiting for someone like you.
Sometimes, the simplest experiences leave the deepest impressions. For the children of Palna, part of the ‘No Child Orphaned’ mission you are supporting, a recent outing was one such day to remember.
The children visited the zoo in Delhi, where they came face to face with mighty animals, their eyes wide with curiosity and wonder. For many of them, it was their first time experiencing the world of wildlife up close. And the excitement was unmistakable.

But the day had more in store. After the zoo, the children headed to a popular fast food restaurant, where laughter, happy chatter and delicious treats made the afternoon even more special.
From exploring nature to sharing joyful moments over a meal, it was a day filled with the kind of childhood memories every child deserves.
All of this was made possible by your support. Your donation gives these children not just shelter and education, but experiences that build confidence, curiosity and a sense of belonging.
Thank you for giving them a childhood worth cherishing.
Our colleague Edin Samuel recently visited Palawi, one of the NGOs you are supporting as part of the No Child Orphaned mission. What he witnessed there was nothing short of inspiring. All the things he saw were made possible by your support.
Here are a few heartwarming moments from his visit in his own words:

"I was welcomed with aarti, reflecting Palawi's deeply rooted cultural values. What struck me immediately was the multigenerational commitment. This is the third generation of the founder's family serving abandoned children.
Mangaltai Shah started with just two abandoned children. Today, Palawi is home to 126 children—80% girls and 20% boys. But here's what truly moved me: many staff members are former beneficiaries themselves. They understand what these children are going through because they have lived it.

I met Rahul (name changed), a Class 10 student who is HIV positive. He's passionate about football and dreams of becoming a professional dancer—not for fame, but to earn money to support other abandoned children like himself!
The founder writes daily appreciation notes displayed on the notice board—recognising children's efforts and staff dedication. This simple practice boosts morale and creates a culture of gratitude.”
Your donation gives children shelter, education, dignity, and something irreplaceable—a sense of belonging, and hope for the future.
Thank you for giving them home.
Your monthly support to our mission No Child Orphaned has given children more than just care—it has given them moments of pure happiness.
This Christmas and New Year, the children at Udayan Care, Palawi, and Palna celebrated with hearts full of joy. At Palawi, the little ones spent their holidays painting and drawing, pouring their imagination on paper and canvas. We are delighted to share some of their beautiful artwork with you, along with glimpses of the festive celebrations across all three homes.

These moments of laughter, creativity, and togetherness are possible because of donors like you. Your consistent support ensures these children don't just survive—they thrive, create, and dream.
As we step into the new year, these children are dreaming bigger than ever before. They feel secure enough to imagine possibilities—and that security comes from your unwavering support.
Thank you for making their dreams possible. Thank you for standing by them, month after month.
Our colleague Abhishek recently visited SOS Children's Villages in Bawana, the NGO that you are supporting as part of the No Child Orphaned mission. What he witnessed there was nothing short of inspiring, all made possible by your support to the mission.
Here are a few heartwarming moments from his visit in his own words:
"The Bawana village, built in 1974, is one of the oldest SOS Villages in India. What struck me most was how these 108 children truly feel at home. Each child has a ‘mother’ assigned to them—living together in family homes with 3-4 children per house. This isn't just shelter; it's a real family.
I met one remarkable ‘mother’ who has devoted the last 31 years of her life to these children. The love and care were palpable. I watched children return from school, excited to share their day over lunch prepared by their ‘mothers’.
Every child attends formal schools and participates in co-curricular activities. The village also arranges tuition, computer classes, and spoken English lessons right on campus. But what moved me most was the security and warmth maintained by the village staff—these children genuinely feel safe and loved.

If you don't ask, you'd never know these are orphaned or abandoned children. The relationships are genuine. The care is mutual. The families are real."
Each donation gives a child shelter, education, and something irreplaceable—a mother's love and a family to call their own.
Thank you for giving them home.
Your generous support to give.do’s mission: No Child Orphaned continues to create miracles! Our NGO partners just shared their half-yearly reports, and the message is clear: hundreds of orphaned and abandoned children experienced love, care, and hope because of compassionate donors like you.

Here's a heartwarming story: Priya (name changed) was born in September 2024 and brought to our NGO partner, Palna, when her birth mother couldn't care for her. The underweight, malnourished infant received medical care, nourishment, and love at Palna, steadily gaining weight and health. In mid-2025, a single Indian mother adopted her. Today, Priya has blossomed in her forever family—mother and daughter are inseparable. In just one year, her journey transformed from abandonment to belonging
Priya represents hundreds of children whose lives you have transformed through Mission: No Child Orphaned.
Lives impacted during the past year
Your support helped 365 children, including 126 HIV+ orphaned children, receive shelter, food, education, and medical care.
Here are some beautiful moments your donations created:
7 children from Palna found their forever families through adoption, while 13 were joyfully restored to their biological families
100% pass rate at Palawi Dhyanmandir School's 10th grade exams!
One Udayan Care student scored an impressive 85% in Class 12, including a perfect 100/100 in Arts
46,116 nutritious meals were served to 126 children at Palawi
Udayan Care organised "Masti ki Pathshala" summer camp where children enjoyed art, Zumba, taekwondo, coding, and theatre
SOS Children's Villages conducted a 20-day engineering summer camp where kids built structures, pulleys, and Newton cars—sparking young minds!
There are many more highlights that we can go on and on…
A story of resilience from Udayan
Sumit (name changed) was found abandoned near a police station after his father's death. His mother had left him. Brought to Udayan Care in 2023, Sumit has flourished despite his difficult start. He is now excelling in Grade 2, making friends and showing enthusiasm for learning. Though his basics were weak, his hard work is paying off. Sumit loves dancing, arts and crafts, and confidently performs on stage.

Thank you for making the transformations possible! Your support doesn't just provide shelter and food, it restores childhood, dignity, and dreams.

Your monthly support for the 'No Child Orphaned' mission is changing lives in ways that words can barely capture. Today, we bring you a few extraordinary children whose futures you are helping secure.
Our partner NGO Palawi, cares for children who are HIV positive, but are orphaned by their own. As Palawi cares and nurtures them, they carry dreams as big and beautiful as any other child. Thanks to your regular donations, these children receive not just medical care and shelter, but something even more precious: hope for a future full of possibilities.
We present a few excerpts letters from children, here:

"We are living with HIV, but that doesn't stop us from smiling, learning and dreaming about becoming doctors, teachers, artists and more."
— Bhavana, 9 years old

"I have a big dream. One day, I want to become a teacher. I want to help kids learn and grow just like my teachers do for me."
— Reena

"I want to dance on a big stage and share the happiness with everyone."
— Ashish, 15 years old
(The names have been changed for their protection)
These aren't just words. They speak of resilience, hope, and the transformative power of consistent care. Your monthly contributions ensure these children receive the care they need.
On behalf of every child at Palawi who dares to dream despite the odds, thank you.
Please find enclosed photographs and letters from the children. Though we've had to blur their faces to protect their privacy, we hope you can feel the warmth of their smiles and the strength of their spirits.
We are excited to share joyful moments from the recent Rakhi and Independence Day celebrations made possible through your support of Mission No Child Orphaned.
Children at our partner NGOs, Palna and Palawi, enjoyed a true sense of home and belonging. They celebrated Rakshabandhan with handmade rakhis and heartfelt promises to protect one another. On Independence Day, their spirits soared with patriotic songs and activities.
Your kindness gives these children more than shelter and education. It gives them childhood memories, family-like bonds, and the freedom to dream.

None of this would be possible without you. Thank you for being part of their journey.
(Attached are a few special moments from the celebrations. To protect the children’s privacy, faces have been blurred as per guidelines.)
Our colleague Abhishek recently visited Udayan Care’s Ghar, the NGO that you are supporting as part of the No Child Orphaned mission. What he witnessed there was nothing short of inspiring—all made possible by your support to the mission
Here are a few heart touching moments from his visit in his own words:

I met a few incredible girls whose lives have been transformed by your support for No Child Orphaned.
Meera (name changed), 12, was rescued from child labour, her bruises still visible. Yet, in just weeks at the Udayan Care’s Ghar, she’s found the family she always longed for. The other girls rallied around her. Their warmth was moving.
Priya (14), now in 5th grade, proudly showed me her school bus pass. Shivani (16), a 10th grader, dreams of civil services, while Ragini (17) is exploring career options with the NGO’s guidance.
At the Ghar’s skill center, girls demonstrated a self-made 3D printer—proof of the opportunities your donations create.
Each donation is a lifeline, offering shelter, education and a real family through mentor parents.
Thank you for giving them sunshine.
Your monthly donation to No Child Orphaned is doing something extraordinary. It’s rewriting the futures of hundreds of orphaned and abandoned children.
At SOS Children’s Villages of India, a key partner in this mission, your support provides the disadvantaged children with a loving home, quality education, and the care of a devoted SOS mother.
You’re not just a donor. You’re a lifeline. On behalf of every child whose life you’ve touched, thank you for being their hero.
We are thrilled to share highlights of an unforgettable trip made possible by your kindness. Over four magical days, the children of Palawi, one of the NGOs you are supporting through the mission ‘No Child Orphaned,’ embarked on a journey filled with discovery, laughter, and inspiration.

Their adventure began at Pimpri-Chinchwad’s Science Park near Pune, where interactive exhibits on rockets, energy, and the human body brought textbook lessons to life. The next two days were spent at a theme park, where splashing in water rides and sharing meals created memories they’ll cherish forever. The trip culminated at Shivsrushti, where stories of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s courage left them awestruck and inspired.

None of this would have been possible without your support. Thank you for giving them not just a trip, but a world of new dreams.
(Attached are a few moments from their journey. To protect their privacy, the children’s faces have been blurred as per guidelines.)
Your generous support to Mission: No Child Orphaned has touched the lives of hundreds of children and helped transform their lives from darkness and despair to hope and opportunities! Because of your support, the orphaned children in our partner NGOs’ care now have the chance to dream for the future.

Here is an incredible story of transformation about a child named Meena* who was left in the cradle that Delhi Council For Child Welfare places outside its children’s home. Meena was just 7 days old when she was abandoned and the NGO found out she had neonatal jaundice but other than that, she was in good health - but was still abandoned. The NGO cared for Meena who is now excited about her future.
Meena is just one child out of hundreds whose lives have been transformed because of your support to Mission: No Child Orphaned.
Lives impacted during the past year
Your support has led to 510 children being supported with the care that they need, including 126 HIV+ orphaned children and 56 children with disabilities.
69 children were rescued by Delhi Council For Child Welfare and many were lost children who were brought to the NGO by the police.
12 children were adopted and were previously at Delhi Council For Child Welfare
85% of children at Palawi showed improved immunity and overall health due to proper ART adherence and nutrition
Many children from Udayan Care received the FI. Lt. Vaibhav Bhagwat Award for Exemplary Courage at St. Mary’s School, New Delhi, won a Gold Medal in the 800m race at the SFA Championship, got selected for the Under-19 Senior Inter Zonal Football competition among 18 students from 30 schools, won 1st place in the District Table Tennis Tournament (U-17), won Gold Medals in the Inter-School Karate Championship 2024 and won Gold in the hurdle race at a Special Needs Children Tournament.
Your support goes far!
Supporting Mission: No Child Orphaned gives children like Rani* a chance to survive and thrive in this world after having been abandoned by their families. Abandoned when she was just one and a half years old, Rani was cared for by Palawi and she is now a bright and talented 10th grader who is good at sports and full of life and hope for her future.

Thank you for your support, which makes these transformations possible! 🙏🏽

Every child deserves a childhood wrapped in safety and dreams. But for Ruhi, home was a place of fear where her protectors became her tormentors. She had no other way out but to flee and end up as an orphaned child.

But a second chance at life came in the form of our NGO partner, Udayan Care. Ruhi was fourteen when she came under Udayan’s care. With the steady support of mentor parents at Udayan and donors like you, Ruhi not only finished school but built a thriving career.
Today, she’s a proud mother of two boys, breaking the cycle that once trapped her. "I’m proof every child deserves a second chance," she says.
Ruhi’s story is one of thousands waiting to unfold through our mission ‘No Child Orphaned’ that you are supporting. Each month, your recurring gift stitches another safety net for children in need.
Thank you for being the constant in so many changing stories.
Here is a glimpse into the lives of the children your monthly contribution supports through our mission No Child Orphaned.
Our NGO partner DCCW who runs Palna - a home for abandoned, orphaned children - has just shared with us some reports of events and activities the kids in their care have engaged in over the last few months.

A morning prayer, for instance, might seem like a routine activity, but for kids who suffer a deep sense of loss, it brings calm, focus and unity before they get ready for class.

Similarly, playing with blocks and Lego may look quite ordinary, but it helps children - whose short lives have been anything but ordinary - develop creativity and problem-solving skills.

Among other activities, the children at Palna also celebrated events like Lohri and World Disabled Day and experienced the joy of outdoor play at a local park, gaining exposure beyond their usual environment.
All this has been made possible because of donors like you - thank you!
We are committed to ensuring that the children you support monthly through our mission No Child Orphaned are being well looked after.
So from time to time staff from give.do make field visits to the NGO centres they are in. Here is an extract from a first-person report about Palawi, our NGO partner that has been providing shelter, nutrition, healthcare and education for HIV+ children since 2001. Currently 126 are in their care.

"Since the children are highly immunocompromised, I first visited the infirmary where their health is closely monitored and receive antiretroviral therapy for HIV. In it there are five emergency beds for kids who require urgent medical attention.”

“I also visited separate hostels for girls and boys, a dorm for infants rescued from public places and the school Palawi started for kids left out of formal education due to the stigma attached to HIV.”

“The children are happy in the family-like atmosphere in Palawi.”
As the new year begins, children whose lives you are changing through your monthly donation to our mission No Child Orphaned, are also beginning to look at their near future with new eyes.

Nine-year-old Akshay, for instance, longs for a pair of roller skates so he can practice and participate in championships when old enough. Lakshaya, 7, is very curious about construction work and craves for a toy JCB to start his “career”! Among other wishes is a carrom board to hone strategic thinking skills, a bicycle to be independent and books to quench the thirst for knowledge.

These are not dreams of homeless children barely surviving on the streets, but of those who now feel secure enough to see possibilities of a new future.
Thank you for your support, for standing by them.
Half-yearly reports from partner NGOs for our mission No Child Orphaned have recently come in. And some of the stories of transformation, thanks to regular support from donors like you, are truly heartwarming.

Here’s one about Onkar* who was brought to our NGO partner Palawi as a two-week-old HIV-positive baby. Unable to retain any nourishment, his tiny body struggled to fight recurring fevers. It took months of specialised medical care before he showed any signs of improvement. Now at one year and eight months, the toddler is walking, about to start talking and a joy to everyone.
And Onkar is just one of hundreds of children who have benefited from this mission.
LIVES IMPACTED
You have also contributed to 472 parentless children - including 126 HIV+ orphans and 40 children with disabilities - being provided with shelter, nutrition, healthcare and education.
Other achievements highlighted by each of our mission NGO partners include:
6 children at Delhi Council for Children Welfare (Palna) found adoptive families. The NGO also rescued 33 children, including 6 with special needs.
Excellence from children at Udayan Ghar: Chanda was selected for an internship at The Shri Ram Ananta Aspen Leadership School in Rishikesh; Anmol scored 93.2% and Nihal 85% in 10th board exams.
Mangaltai, founder of Prabha Hira Pratishthan (Palawi), received recognition for her work including London’s World Book of Records award, nomination for the Amazing Indians Awards, and an invitation for a meeting with the President of India.
SOS Children Villages conducted various sessions to prepare their wards to lead independent lives, including cyber security, child rights, substance abuse, resilience building, spoken English, confidence building, career counseling, etc.
EVERY NUMBER HAS A NAME
…and every name has a story! Like Mythili* who was only four years old when her alcoholic father abandoned her by leaving her with a beggar with leprosy. Her trauma only lifted when she arrived at SOS Children Villages - and with the care and love she received from her SOS mother and siblings, she has healed and dares to hope. She says: “I aspire to become a doctor so that I can serve and assist others."

Thank you for helping make such stories of hope possible 🙏🏽

Impact reports from partner NGOs for our mission No Child Orphaned have recently come in. And in them we found baby Ira’s story - one that began about the same time as this mission that you support.

Ira was just 41 days old when she arrived at Palna from a Delhi hospital in November 2023. Found severely malnourished on a railway platform, she weighed in at only 1.3 kg. With constant medical care, including vaccinations and treatment for acute bronchitis, the little girl has gained weight and is now thriving with other infants in the nursery.
Isn’t it wonderful to be able to change the fate of an innocent child?
LIVES IMPACTED
You have also contributed to 390 parentless children - including 126 HIV+ orphans and 30 children with disabilities - being provided with shelter, nutrition, healthcare and education.
Other achievements highlighted by each of our mission NGO partners include:
31 children, including 9 with special needs, were rescued by Delhi Council for Children Welfare (Palna).
At Udayan Care, Vishnu got a full scholarship in a top private school and Shivani won a medal at National Cadet Corps Camp.
Prabha Hira Pratishthan (Palawi) launched a vocational training programme to enhance the livelihood opportunities of HIV+ children.
EVERY NUMBER HAS A NAME
...and every name has a story! Here is Munni’s, 75% disabled, with intellectual, speech and hearing impairments. Abandoned by her family, the 15-year-old girl reached Udayan Ghar, Noida, in February 2022. But with constant support and encouragement from the home, the energetic teenager has excelled in sports and has been selected for the state team to participate in the Special Olympics.

Thank you for helping make such stories of hope possible 🙏🏽
