Here’s a direct message from Sandeep Reddy, CEO, India Animal Fund (IAF) expressing his sincere gratitude for your support of our mission Stop Animal Cruelty.
Dear <donorname>,
We are deeply grateful to have donors like you who recognise the importance of animal welfare and believe in our mission.
Thanks to your support, we at IAF are able to back our NGO partners working to end animal suffering and exploitation. They include:
People For Animals: Their efforts in Kedarnath, Uttarakhand, have resulted in the accountability and penalisation of 5,000+ equine owners for abuse and mistreatment of their animals.
Animal Law & Policy Network: At a conference in Odisha, they advocated for animal-inclusive disaster preparedness.
Aloha Ahimsa Foundation: Thanks to advocacy by this NGO, NCERT has now approved 40 scripts on animal welfare which will be hosted on DIKSHA, a national digital platform used daily by 700,000 students and teachers.
Thank you for your trust in us to use your donations to end animal suffering in India.Warm regards,

Your monthly support is making a significant difference in the lives of countless animals at the sanctuary run by People For Animals, Uttarakhand (PFA). One of the working animals rescued by PFA is Yamuna, an overworked horse who was abandoned by her owner.

Yamuna was found in a terrible state, weak and malnourished. PFA was able to provide her with much-needed veterinary care and a safe haven. The NGO later came to know that Yamuna was also pregnant, needing extra care. Thanks to the compassion of the PFA team, she gave birth to a healthy foal named Aryan.

Today, Yamuna and Aryan are living happily at the PFA sanctuary, enjoying the peace and tranquility they deserve.
Your continued support empowers us to help more animals like Yamuna. Thank you for your compassion and commitment to animal welfare.
Here’s a quick update on how your monthly contribution to our mission Stop Animal Cruelty is helping to tackle the abuse and exploitation of stray, farm and working animals.

Of the various interventions made by our NGO partners to improve the lives of all categories of animals, a vital one is influencing positive change in animal welfare policies and laws.
For instance, thanks to the tireless efforts of People For Animals, overworked mules and horses at Himalayan tourist destinations have some protection. Regulations now being enforced include:
Government veterinary officers check that only medically fit animals are employed to cart tourists up and down mountain sides.
Surveillance by police and other task force officers along popular tracks monitor the well-being of working animals.
Your contribution to this mission is addressing issues like these and giving voice to animals whose cries are not heard.
Your generosity can help us reach even more people in need. Please consider donating more to support our mission and help us achieve our goal of making a greater impact.
